Does the resizer keep the aspect ratio?
Yes, always. You choose the width and the height is calculated automatically, so the video never looks stretched.
What width should I pick?
854 px (480p) is plenty for chat apps and previews; 1280 px (720p) keeps things crisp for general viewing.
What format is the output?
Resized videos are saved as MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio, which plays everywhere.
Can I enlarge a video?
You can enter any width up to 3840 px, but upscaling cannot add detail the original never had, so the result may look soft.
